I have published three mysteries featuring the Hispanic detective, Lieutenant Mario Morales. When I published the first of these novels, DEAD IN THE WATER, I decided to donate a portion of the earnings from the sale of the book to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
